From the moment I experienced for myself the deep sense of relaxation and wellbeing working with Reiki gives, I was hooked. Over the the years, it has afforded me the most profound wonder at its' ability to heal and the wonderful sense of wellbeing it always brings to myself and my clients.

It was later that I decided to train as a counsellor as Reiki has always more of a vocation than a job. Having worked with people of all ages and walks of life over the years, I have witnessed the ever growing trend towards anxiety and stress and the lack of accessible mental health support and it was this that drew me to train as a counsellor.

Person-centred counselling, as created by Carl Rogers, struck a cord with me. Much like working with Reiki, there is a profoundness in it's simplicity.
